Cold this morning, 27'fahrenheit when we set off and a bitter wind to go with it. Not a sign of the sun today.

The lodges were semi frozen and very busy as people fed the ducks, they seemed glad to see anyone with a carrier bag.

We had not seen much on the walk - even the robins seem to be scarce this morning.

I tried to count them but gave up!
