Monday 28 December

We set off with George and soon found Sue & the tribe.

We had a good walk and were just on the way back when Sue spotted three deer at the edge of Spring Wood, they are so well camouflaged.

We were on the far side of the gully so they did not move straight away.

They watched us as we watched them.

These two were the biggest.

This one was smaller - perhaps last years young. They all bounded off toward Primrose Hill.

Met up with Debbie just after the deer spotting, we caught up with all the news, then ventured onto the park paths, still very slippy.

On Sunny Brow we came across a young couple who could hardly keep their feet. We were glad to have our sticks with us.

Take Care.

  3. Very cool. They look a lot like our whitetail deer, but the ears seem different somehow.
