Wednesday 28 April

Mild dry morning, we drifted about and found quite a bit to photograph.

Swan still on her nest, I am sure she will be glad to hatch those eggs.

This is the first stage of the slime mold - Enteridium Lycoperdon, we found some on Sunday near the Barrow. This one was near the weir. I will try to remember and look at it again.

King Alfred's cakes on a fallen Ash.

Elder flower buds.

Oak bud burst.

Lords & Ladies in flower.

The mother mallard has lost 2 more babes.
