Thursday 26 August

Dry sunny morning - we did an hour around the rucks and lodges.

Then we took off to Knott End and the weather was still good.
Found another small Apple of Peru in flower, we checked for it on our way back a couple of hours later it had been dug up.

I scattered some of them among the rocks.

This Grasshopper was very keen to have its photo taken.
ID as a Common Field Grasshopper
Arnold says "why is every thing we find are always common?"
Who cares if he is common, also ID as a male.
