Thursday 13 January

Very mild this morning, all the snow has gone but the lodges are still frozen over.

Top Lodge.

We found this tucked away in the rubble of an old cottage, last year I found spotted laurel growing in this area and now I think it is being left by whoever has placed the yellow roses.
Spotted Laurel - Aucuba japonica is a popular garden plant.

Another bunch of roses at the base of another tree - is it perhaps symbolic of something?

Take Care.

  1. You have flowers blooming! How strange. We have 2 feet of snow.
