Sue sent me this photo yesterday afternoon, telling me were the frogs where
It's the female carrying the male to the breeding pond - in the past we have seen females carrying as many as three males.
I soon spotted them this morning

Just one clump of spawn in my garden pond. The pond as frozen over again and all activity has stopped, too cold for spawning.
ReplyDeleteThese frogs have all disappeared and I presume the spawn has been frozen rendering it useless, will hopefully wait and see if more spawn is produced.
