Sunday 11 August

Sunny morning so we had our walk in the valley
Had a look at theTomato - Solanum lycopersicon growing in the nick of the pavement, tomatoes on but the plant looks weary possibly been sprayed by the local kill brigade.

When we got home we decided to set off for Knott End, Meg enjoys the beach and chasing the sea gulls.
Along the wall we find plants that appear different in the coastal area, more robust, stronger so the sea air must agree with them.
Early Goldenrod - Solidago gigantea

 Soapwort - Saponaria officinallis

Take Care
