  1. Ah yes, I keep forgetting that you folks call basswood lime. Our common one is Tilia americana, but others are planted as ornamentals. There is one that is super fragrant, but I can't remember which it is.

  2. Not many limes left these days - apart from the planted ones mainly in parks and cemeteries, it's a nice wood to carve.
