Thursday 26 December

Damp morning with a keen frost

Buzzard spotted by Sue in Spring Wood

One of the many nest boxes in the valley - this one had Nuthatch last year
These two have good eyesight they spotted us from the bottom end of the lodge

Take Care

  1. Buzzard? Here that means turkey vulture. Yours looks like some kind of hawk

  2. It is our common buzzard - Buteo buteo much smaller than our golden eagle but just as beautiful, has a wing span of approx 48 inches.
