Wednesday 26 March

We kept to the Rucks this morning Meg has been having acupuncture for her back and this morning is her third session, so we are trying to keep her clean, we managed it with just muddy paws.

Blackthorn - Prunus spinosa looks like cherry plum but don't be fooled this has ferocious thorns, plus the darker twigs and the flowers are smaller.

Broom - Cytisus scoparius

Broom - Cytisus scoparius

Geranium another garden throw out.

Hazel - Corylus avellana next step is the nuts - but not for us as I have said before we rarely see ripe hazel nuts as the squirrels take them green :)

Footpath on the rucks, not as popular as some due to the mud.

Another footpath on the rucks a bit drier so well used

Willow - Salix

Yellow Iris - Iris pseudacorus these are well up the rucks just shows how wet these rucks are.

Take Care
