Friday 25 April

Weather still good

This is the white form of our native Bluebell - Hyacinthoides non-scripta

One of many Bluebell glades we have in our woods

Often called may flower, Hawthorn - Crataegus monogyna

Some of my House Sparrow gang, so good to see them building in numbers again.

Tiny delicate Wood Speedwell - Veronica montana

Take Care

  1. The white bluebell is interesting. I have one very poor picture of a white pink lady's slipper orchid, which is supposed to be rare but not unheard of.

  2. It's been a brilliant year for our Bluebells, still some to open depending on their aspect and altitude but many at their best.
