Above freezing this morning

The dogs are wanting to go as we had just been chatting to fellow walkers, at least we can walk without slipping, this side of the lodge is bad when icy.

Swans are now preparing for the new life, last years youngster has been left to make their way in the world.

    I can hardly believe your swans are thinking about nests. We are barely to mid-winter.

    They are keen and it can be their loss as we have had poor results these last two years due to we think the weather turning cold later.
