Friday 6 March

A dry cool morning, we were four in total with five dogs, an average group. Not many folk about.

We walked up to the Barrow and then skirted the top end of Burgh Wood, plenty of life in the trees, quite a few Woodpeckers. We try to spot them but they always seem to be on the other side of the tree. We usually see them when they fly between the trees.

The robins seem to be in pairs now, spring has arrived for most of the wildlife.

Butterbur is showing all over.

Geese & Ducks

Garlic Mustard leaves.

Ramblers in the sunshine.

Part of the Channel that feeds the Top Lodge.
