Sunday 13 September

What a beautiful morning, a cool start but promising.
We headed off towards Duxbury calling at various places on our way.
Plenty of Acorns all ready for the squirrels to stash away for the winter.
Another burnt tree - why?
Sorry about the poor quality of these photos, but I think you will understand why I have put them on the blog.
The tern raft now taken over by the gulls and what looks almost like a penguin but it is the Cormorant.
I just could not resist it.
Lesser Trefoil
Rhododendron with buds and flowers.
Those Shaggy Scalycaps are still there. (I think that's what they are)
White Clover still flowering.
Can you see the cheeky squirrel
