It was snowing this morning, came on heavy at one point thought it was going to put a few inches down but it stopped suddenly, never to do anymore during the morning and early afternoon.
All the small birds were out in force, plus wood pigeons, jays, crows and magpies.
A new comer to our morning feast, a very shy Song Thrush waited till we cleared the area and then came for some seed.
Take Care.
Lovely photo of the Song Thrush, I haven't seen one around our part of the world for a few years
ReplyDeleteBeautiful countryside around you...no wonder you go out rambling :)
ReplyDeleteLove the Song Thrush...such a wonderful way to be wakened up in the morning :)
I am enjoying the light..a little more each day now...roll on Spring :)
Wow- that must be related to our Wood Thrush- a very elusive but be-you-tee-full voiced bird. Similar large spots on the breast.
