Cold dry morning, we headed over toward Burgh Wood, making our way back through Spring Wood - We could see our dog fox in the distance, he soon caught sight of us and made off into the thicket.

A bit gory but this is how he survives, the fox had left his breakfast, it was not a kill the Hedgehog was frozen solid, probably had come out yesterday as it was so mild and got caught by the keen frost.

He had started as we approached so we left quickly to allow him to finish.

Not a pretty sight, the fox will soon clean it up and it's not wasted.
