Just above freezing this morning

The wildfowl were hungry, Billy Swan was as usual on the front row

 The youngsters are now being left to their own fate and will be seen off by Billy as soon as the weather picks up for nesting.

We had not got much bread but I gave them some sunflower hearts as well.

Thought you might like to see the new nest box from the outside, it is tucked up under the eaves so gets a lot of protection from the weather. The metal plate only is just a fit for the Blue Tits, so only they or a smaller bird can use the box it also adds a bit of protection from predators.
