Wednesday 28 August

Dry Morning

Caddis Fly - Mystacides longicornis lots on the Shrubs around the lodge
Enchanter's Nightshade - Circaea lutetiana not related to the nightshades, part of the willowherb family, another one that is at home in my back garden, have to keep an eye on it as it does like it there.
Guelder Rose - Viburnum opulus - I have read that these berries can be eaten in small amounts and can be cooked and used in wine making - but the smell is enough to put me off, so I will not bother and stick to our own wild fruits.
Penny Tree - plenty of coins are being added, it could be a future attraction for the park

Take Care
