We got up to the Barrow Field - what a surprise the digger was on and a channel dug down the field. I could not get near enough to see if the orchid was intact. They appear to be putting drains in and running it off toward Burgh Wood, surely it will run into the stream that enters the Big Lodge - I can not think of any where else it can go.
