Took a few record photos of some plants on our walk but nothing worth posting.

Then a neighbour knocked on the door asking would I come and look at a plant that they had not planted.

Off I went with camera at the ready - it was Flowering Nutmeg - what a gift from the birds. It has been turning up in various places due to birds loving the berries it produces. It is sometimes called Himalayan Honeysuckle.

Leaves are in pairs.

I look forward to finding one growing wild - hopefully in the Yarrow Valley.
