Dry today, took no photos on our early walk.

Thursday 15 July

As we got to the path just passed the slippery log, we thought this was a dumped kitten, as you can see it is a young mink, it was having a mole for breakfast.

We were inches from it and it showed no fear, it attacked our boots to defend it's food. We watched it eat all the mole and then it strolled off on the path toward the Deer Carving it entered the undergrowth near the sluice Channel.
