Very windy - thought we were going to get wet but no it held off.
We tried to avoid the heavily wooded areas as the trees groaned and strained in the wind, frightening at times.

Down in the valley the wind was less severe, the sun was doing it's best to appear but apart from this wee bit of beauty was banished by the clouds.
This is the viewing platform for the Top Lodge, countless folk have stood on this many times myself included.

The cemetery woods is very old trees, not all in good shape. I stay out of there when it's really windy.
