    Common name confusion again! I'd never heard of the Sycamore Maple, which you just called a Sycamore, because you call a Sycamore a Plane Tree, which is nothing at all to us! Anyway, I was going to say we don't have that tree here, but the USDA shows it some places- maybe it was planted as an ornamental

    There are disputes here about this tree but to me it's been here that long, how long before we become native?? It thrives here but I would not call it invasive -
