Monday 26 May

Had a walk up through Spring Wood onto what we call the Barrow Field, I have no doubt this will be built on in the near future, the new estate has expanded toward Duxbury for the moment, they will eventually get round to the Barrow. We returned through Burgh Wood - the valley that runs through it makes it almost secretive as there are parts that are almost inaccessible, at least it is safer for the wildlife.

 Crested Dog's-tail - Cynosurus cristatus

 Cut-leaved Cranesbill - Geranium dissectum

Perennial Rye-grass - Lolium perenne
