Hot & Dry at Knott End.

 I enjoyed watching this Black Headed Gull on the beach finding tasty morsels.

Chives - Allium schoenoprasum seem to have come back to life. 

 We passed this man on the sea wall - no he's not making sandcastles, he's digging for lug worms.

 Drift Wood a lovely piece but too big & heavy to carry far.

 Jet Ski racing.

 Lapwing - the colours are lovely never noticed this before.

Long-headed Poppy - Papaver dubium subsp. dubium 

 Pheasant in moult

Sea Mayweed - tripleurospermum maritimum with a small tortoiseshell on it. 

 The tide was high today.

Wild Radish - Raphanus raphanistrum

Knott End the beach early morning, miles of it to ourselves.

 Thought this might be the Wheatear we saw on the wall but it was so far away and I am no birder.

 Large piece of driftwood - it would have looked good in the garden.

 I actually got an ID for this shell but I have left the notes at Knott End - will have to wait till our next visit.
