Thursday 25 September

We did the walk to Duxbury today, the paths are dry which is unusual for the area. First time I'd seen the new gate, this was a stile originally and it was awkward to get over when exiting the wood, the drop on the wood side meant that you had to pull yourself over, this is much easier for us old fogeys.

 Large trees in the Yarrow

Burgh Lane South, this leads to Drybones

 Red Campion - Silene dioica

Sheep in the field - I think she is saying who are you looking at

Then I got the bored and tiresome look

Take Care
