Dry morning - we had a good walk.

Columbine in bud near big lodge - I can hardly wait to see the colour of the flower will it be blue or a garden form, first one for me in this area near the big lodge. No doubt it will self seed if it is allowed to.

I was amazed to see this Elder in flower, the other florets were still tightly closed without sign of opening.
Another new one to this area - Ground Ivy near the path to the weir.

Thought these two were going to start their courtship dance - but no they just carried on their separate ways,
