We enjoyed our walk this morning, chatted and took no photos till I got back to lodges.

The swan family were on the move

Edward - resident male was first

This is a steep bank from the Top Lodge, so the cygnets are struggling to climb it.

Number one up.

two of them needed a bit of coaxing from mum but they finally made it.

Off they go.

Across the footpath, there was quite a crowd watching by this time.

The youngsters look hesitant perhaps the big lodge is daunting to them.

Mum presses on and they follow.

All down safe and sound. Edward is already in get off my lodge mode.

Into the water as soon as he spots Billy.

Full steam ahead - no peace on the lodge now.
