Sunday 23 March

Up onto the Burgh nice morning, not many about, returning through the valley and up onto the rucks.

Barren Strawberry - Potentilla sterilis

Common Bistort  - Persicaria bistorta

 Cowslip - Primula veris

Forsythia suspensa x viridissima = F. xintermedia

 Ivy Leaved Speedwell - Veronica hederifolia

Male Fern - Dryopteris filix-mas growing happily in a gully - Plock Wood.

 Just emerging onto Lower Burgh Road from Plock Wood it is more a dirt track than road, below is the garden centre on Birkacre Road.

Wednesday 8 February

Not been in Plock Wood for ages - it has been one of the places that has suffered vandels.

Bridges have been repaired



Looks a lot better these days.

Back at the Top Lodge and this youngster is still playing gooseberry, Billy does not like it.
