 Kingfisher keeps coming to the sluice channel - I am also informed it is a female. Now what can we call her? Well Sue has christened her Carmen after the colourful old film star Carmen Miranda.

    I have yet to get a picture (good or bad) of a kingfisher. Every time you post a pic of a chaffinch I am surprised at how elegant they look.
