White version of Red Clover - Trifolium pratense, not a rarity but have to say it's the first time I have come across it, we get red, zig zag, alsike & white on the meadow this just stood out - it made the white clover look like it needed a persil wash.

I think  this is Great Pond Snail waiting for confirmation - It has been ID as an Amber Snail.
I may have seen it before but just thought it was a Great Pond Snail, so a first for me.

 Black Headed Gulls avoiding the tern rafts as they are nesting and in keep clear mode.
 Old roots that I always thought looked like steps and now I think they may well have been used long ago - bricks at the base look like they were put in to help.

Cool morning, cloudy but the rain stayed away.
We went onto the Lower Burgh Meadow.
Alsike Clover - Trifolium hybridum 
 Amphibious Bistort - Persicaria amphibia this was very disappointing due to the dry weather - usually a large flowering patch but only found two flowers.

 Apple Mint - Mentha x villosa this is the best mint for the table we love it.

 Common Michaelmas Daisy - Aster novi-belgii x lanceolatus = A. x salignus

Wild Carrot - Daucus carota there was plenty of this about last year but I only managed to find a small area.
