White version of Red Clover - Trifolium pratense, not a rarity but have to say it's the first time I have come across it, we get red, zig zag, alsike & white on the meadow this just stood out - it made the white clover look like it needed a persil wash.

On our own so we ambled about - it was dry and warm in the valley.

 Not a pretty sight but nature has to be seen in all it's facets - we think a crow...

 Speckled Wood a bit worn - by the old cottage ruins at Dry Bones.

Dry morning for our walk over the Lower Burgh Meadow, it was alive with colour.

Agrimony - Agrimonia eupatoria
Bee Orchid - Ophrys apifera  - Managed to find another plant but the one with buds on has vanished completely, hope it has just been eaten by slugs.

Not really a fly person but these just made me look twice - all sun bathing in the same direction and angle.
