Back at home 

 and the Great Crested Grebe has a baby - the little striped head sticking out from under the parents wing looking for food.
 This is Tufted Duck & Pochard seemed like they enjoy each others company
Wood Avens - Geum urbanum we also call this Herb Bennet.

Plenty of small birds about.

Just liked the look of the bark
and knots in this tree
Still hanging about waiting 
I quite like wood pigeons

Saturday 21 January

Rain again with the wind behind it (not nice)

 This is the Coot we saw last year on the ice showing it's leg rings off, I could not get a good shot of them but the colours were the same. Good to see it likes it on the lodge.

 Pochard the water was really choppy and I was wind swept.

One of the many Charlie Robins that come for breakfast - they are so bold, you just have to love them.
