Cow Parsley - Anthriscus sylvestris almost in flower

One of my nestboxes - this has no camera in and the Blue Tits are nesting, I may be able to get some photos later as they develope.

An old stump in the Top Lodge, I do believe there is a Moorhen Nesting in there.

Terns are back, only one brave Gull on the Raft.

Percy Wood Pigeon, he's never far away when the food is out.

Friday 7 November

Damp & mild plenty of birds and people about

 Blue Tit

 Female Chaffinch

Two male Chaffinch one seems to have (I am no expert) what I think is Bumble Foot, most articles I have read on this states the birds seem to cope and appear healthy other than the growth.

The very trusting Squirrel is still coming

among the the others - there are two Crows, another Magpie just out of view and the Wood Pigeon plus lots of small birds.

Tuesday 29 January

Very mild and the rain is back.

Well what would I do if Percy did not come, I would be worried for him.
One of the large recycling bins cut in two to make sledges - obviously not a success.
The other day I put monkey nuts on the bench and they went in minutes, today no takers, they are all waiting for the sunflower hearts.

As you can see all my bird friends are spoiled :)

Monday 28 January

Two days and most of the snow has gone, no doubt we will get more but what weird weather we are having.

Did not go far this morning, Meg was not on top form.
Percy Wood Pigeon was the only one that let me take his photo at the cost of some sunflower seeds.
