Lovely day for our walk

7 Spot Ladybird our most common one

Red Clover - Trifolium pratense

Known as Shield Bugs or Stink Bugs - I find them fascinating, they are found on various trees & plants, they also have about 4 stages they go through before they are adult - this is a new adult (so I am informed)

All over the valley new life is appearing

7 Spot Ladybird

Our native Bluebells - Hyacinthoides non-scripta

Bumblebee searching for the right place to make her nest

Common Dog Voilet - Viola riviniana

No scent with this one

Garden Grape Hyacinth - Muscari armeniacum they get everywhere :)

Larch - Larix note the odd one out the female flower that we see later as the cone

Lords & Ladies - Arum maculatum we don't get many patches with the spotted leaves

Welsh Poppy - Meconopsis cambrica

We found all these within a few yards of each other plenty of Galls about this year.

Dry almost sunny morning

I am an offcomer as they say round here, meaning I wasn't born in the village, born about 14 miles away and love my home town, seen many beautiful sunrises (possibly more than most) loads of views from all over the country, yet when we came to live here this view stunned me. No matter how many times I see it I have to tell myself it's real and on my doorstep. Money can't buy it and no one can take it from me, we can all share it.

Thought this was a strange looking ladybird larvae, not one of our native ones but the Harlequin Ladybird not native but introduced and seems to be building up in number.
