Just below freezing again

Noticed that Garden Privet  - Ligustrum ovalifolium still had a few berries left.

 As we walked down Sunny Brow the mist was hiding the Valley

 We have been spotted through the mist

 When the mist is down everything is so quiet and seems peaceful

Misty morning

This memorial bench has always been of interest as it is set back and up a slight incline, next to the old cottage site. We often wondered about this lady and recently had it confirmed she lived in the cottages, she must have looked at the view many times and what a lovely view - there are often fresh flowers among the cottages ruins, she must have loved this area.

This is a very large tree that we think has been hit by lightening at sometime as it is split three ways.

Saturday 22 September

Damp again but we stayed dry.

 Corn-cockle - Agrostemma githago - only noticed the Green Shieldbug Nymph when I was looking at the photos later on, it's the 2nd one we found recently.
