Tuesday 29 January

Very mild and the rain is back.

Well what would I do if Percy did not come, I would be worried for him.
One of the large recycling bins cut in two to make sledges - obviously not a success.
The other day I put monkey nuts on the bench and they went in minutes, today no takers, they are all waiting for the sunflower hearts.

As you can see all my bird friends are spoiled :)

Wednesday 12 December

Dry, cold morning.

Big lodge was 90% frozen

Tiny area for the wild fowl to wait for food.
This is Dopey VT6 he was at the bottom end in the small area of water, he has lived up to his name, setting of walking to the far end for feeding - swans are not designed to walk far, he was soon tired and flopped down, we gave him some feed, happy ending he made it to the other end.

Thursday 15 November

Dry & Mild

The Ramblers are gathering
On our way
Dipper at the weir
We worry if Charlie Robin doesn't show
Look what else turned up on the path, one very large Saddleback Pig - we knew she was about, yes the smell and the destruction they cause grubbing for roots - she was very friendly but determined not to move or go any where she did not want to, we did not argue with her :)

To show how that snout can rip the ground up
