We did Primrose Hill & the surround area this morning

Bees have created a hive inside the tree

 Dactylorhiza x grandis - Hybrid

 Marsh Thistle - Cirsium palustre

Oak Marbles these are caused by a tiny midge/fly

 Yellow Water Lily - Nuphar lutea

Young Starlings been lots and still more to come

No photos from our damp morning walk, managed a few at home.

 Common Carder Bee on my Devil's Bit Scabious
Believe it or not this is Garden Parsley - Petroselinum crispum - not often seen at this stage in seed.
 Garden Parsley - Petroselinum crispum again showing the tiny green/yellow flowers.
 Heather - Calluna vulgaris another one that has made it's self at home it's growing in most of my pots.
 Heather - Calluna vulgaris this is our most common heather also known as Ling.
Pears are ready and quite a good crop.

Dry Morning

 I loved to watch this this beautiful bee - have no ID for it yet.
I see lots of the leaves and flowers of Lords & Ladies - Arum maculatum but the seed heads are usually trampled on - this was out of the way so survived.
